Our events focus on psychedelics, psychedelic-assisted therapies, and their intersections with the counseling profession
Clinical Issues in and Approaches to Psychedelic Risk Reduction and Integration
As rates of psychedelic use increase across the United States, public awareness of their healing potential grows, and trends in decriminalization continue, counselors will need to be able to assist clients who have previously used psychedelics or are intending to use them. This session provides an existential-humanistic framework for helping clients integrate previous experiences and a risk-reduction approach for working with clients who intend to use or have used psychedelics themselves.

PCIN Q&A Panel
Interested in learning how to get involved in psychedelic-assisted therapies and research?
We'll have several panelists sharing some of their experiences in different training programs (California Institute of Integral Studies, Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, and Polaris Insight Center) as well as discussing ways that current students can begin broaching these topics within their programs.
